Sorry it has been so long since our last update. Things have been pretty crazy around here. We discovered that Olivia may be a bit colicy. She starts up around 4pm and typically doesn't stop until about 10 or 11pm. Per the doctor's orders, we have changed her formula and put her on some gas drops. Even with the changes, she is still crying a lot in the evenings. But, things are going well otherwise. She is now beginning to try to push herself up and cracks an occasional consious smile.

You must think I stalk your blog - I can't help it, I love the photos of Olivia. She is so cute. Both Jacob and Kaitlyn were EXTREMELY colicky due to reflux. If you ever want thoughts or ideas on calming techniques, just give me a call or email. Both my kids were on medicine (and the expensive formula) - for Jacob it worked great, for Kaitlyn it is working ok - she still cries a lot. It can make for very long days and nights. Take turns with Olivia so each of you can also get a break. Don’t hesitate to call on friends and family to help out. It can be a very tough time! I won’t write that it will pass, because is sure doesn’t feel like it some days. Hang in there!
